Celebrity chef Cat Cora will throw virtually anything on the grill. We tagged along as she hosted family and friends for a seaside Santa Barbara cookout.
"For this classic Mediterranean summer menu, I used foods that taste light and fresh, like asparagus and watermelon, and sauces like aïoli with a citrusy twist. Another bonus to the menu is that many of the recipes can be prepped entirely in advance, leaving you time to relax and have fun with friends—which, to me, is what grilling is all about." —Cat Cora
This recipe is equally delicious with artichokes. Boil 30 to 35 minutes, cut in half and remove fuzzy choke, then proceed
with step 3. For less heat in the aïoli, omit the Calabrian chiles and add a pinch of dried crushed red pepper.
