Zone: Various depending upon species
Color: White, purple, blue, magenta, lavender, light pink, red
Blooms: Early spring to early summer
Light: Full sun or light shade
Care: Requires regular water
Notes: Before planting a lilac, check that the location has well-drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. If necessary, add lime before planting.
