See how designer Andrew Howard infused this Jacksonville, Florida, home with fun colors, punchy prints, and kid-proof materials.
The living room is open to the kitchen, so Howard kept the look airy, painting the walls a pale blue and the backs of the built-in bookcases a soft green, to let the white accents pop. Weathered boards on the ceiling warm up the space. The room is large enough to fit a few seating areas, but one big grouping of sofas and chairs works better for conversation flow.
Product Guide: The walls are painted Gray Sky and the trim is painted White Dove, both by Benjamin Moore. The light fixture is by Visual Comfort. The sofas and blue chair are from Hickory Chair. The coffee table is custom by James Michael Howard Inc. The end table and wood framed chair are from Oly. The curtain fabric is from Pindler & Pindler.
