St. Barts Trés Chic

Designer Barry Dixon gives this retreat beaucoup flair with tropical greens and ocean blues.

The wide blue-and-white stripes on the cushions are a sunny complement to the cheerful lines of the porch’s awnings. To make maximum use of limited space, Barry brought the dining room outdoors, under deep eaves with adjustable awnings. Elemental iron chairs pair with a textured oak table; the pendant lamp, which Barry purchased in Morocco, adds a touch of the arabesque.
