Minimal living room furnishings set the stage for both the changing hues of the water and Paul’s wide-ranging palette of plant colors and forms. Houseplants and floral arrangements personalize the spaces as knickknacks might in another house. “The cleaner the interior, the more spacious it feels,” advises Bill.
