On each side, three-drawer, burnished leather chests trimmed in antique brass nailheads support contemporary glass bubble lamps with rust-red shades. "This room doesn't have as commanding a view as the waterfront bedrooms, so the black and white against the coral [walls] makes it a little more lively," Susan says.
