Just two years after purchasing an idyllic clifftop retreat overlooking Kauai’s secluded Secret Beach, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have sold their home for $12 million in an under-the-radar deal with an undisclosed buyer.

Set on the north shore, the sprawling seven-acre compound consists of four separate structures spread out on the grounds, creating a private haven for the Smith family and their guests.

Originally built for NBA star Kareem Abdul Jabbar, the two-story, three-bedroom main house features sky-high vaulted ceilings, walls of windows, two wood-burning fireplaces, and wraparound lanais. In addition to the main house, a two-bedroom guest house, one-bedroom carriage house, multipurpose studio, pool, tennis court, and loads of tropical and fruit-bearing vegetation occupy the land.

Maybe the best part? A private trail leads down to 3,000 feet of one the most secluded stretches of pristine beachfront on Kauai.

It’s no surprise this isn’t the first home Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have escaped to on Kauai’s picturesque north shore. In 2011, the couple sold a nearby beachfront estate for $20 million, making a $6 million profit in the two years they owned the home.

If they haven’t snatched up another prime piece of Hawaiian property yet, we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time.
