Sunset Beach

“This photograph was taken on the North Shore of Oahu, during the semester that I spent studying in Hawaii,” Lindsey says. “This is one of my favorite beaches, because of its clear blue water and perfect white sand. The North Shore is so peaceful and beautiful, and I have wonderful memories of watching this white boat float along the coast. It’s hard to believe this very spot is right down the street from the Pipeline, where the waves grow huge during the winter months and several big surfing competitions are held. It was amazing to watch the ocean transform itself like that.”
