The graceful inhabitants of Stingray City and Sandbar encircle tourists to feed on morsels of squid. No one has ever been struck by a barb here, says Red Sail Sports guide Jimmy Ebanks (not pictured), who's traveled this corridor since 1952. "The rays brush up against you like little kittens," he says, "so don't be afraid."
