Designer and builder Patrick Hand has transformed an old five-and-dime into Blue, a six-suite, loft-style boutique inn with minimalist decor and 110-year-old pine floors. It's hard to beat the location, either, smack-dab in the middle of the commercial center of Cape Charles and two blocks from the beach.
