Yes, it’s a cottage, with a fairytale facade, and it’s filled with sweets, including 16 flavors of handmade fudge and over 50 types of licorice from around the world. A fixture on Ocean Avenue in California’s Carmel-by-the-Sea since 1960, this tiny shop consistently ranks among the city’s “best smelling” and “best tasting” establishments.
