Lake Crescent Lodge

Port Angeles,  Washington
The naturally formed Lake Crescent fills a deep basin at the north end of Olympic National Park. Highway 101 skirts around its south side for about 10 miles. If the sun's out, pull onto Lake Crescent Road and visit Lake Crescent Lodge. The best rocks for skipping are found here--and some of the best lodgings around the lake, as well. Choose from several levels of accommodation, from rooms with shared showers to private cottages.
