Sailing from Panama to Tahiti

“We’re bypassing a stop, so we have another two weeks at sea before reprovisioning. Hardly any fresh food left besides a few eggs, potatoes, and onions, so we are trying to be creative with the ingredients we have. Today, [crew members] Jan and Ricky made sandwiches with pickles, cucumbers, and gobs of mayo.” ―Jen Edney
