 Why you’ll Love It: You sleep in yurts. This retreat center dates to 1967; founder Ganga White is one of the country’s most well-known yogis.
 Where You’ll Salute the Sun: just outside town in a canyon with views of the Pacific
 Post-Yoga Diversions: The campus sits in the mountains overlooking Santa Barbara, so there’s plenty of exploring.
