If your holiday tastes like the sea, this is for you.

Fresh clams are iconic in chowders and soups. We love them with pasta and paella. Even grilled, clams are an outstandingly simple coastal dinner. But if the idea of clam-flavored candy canes does little to twirl your heart, perhaps you just don't love clams enough.

Seattle-based Archie McPhee introduced their first seafood-inspired candy cane collection, Clamdy Canes. This isn't the novelty store's first foray into eyebrow-raising candy cane flavors. Among their existing offerings, you'll find Mac & Cheese Candy Canes, Pickle Candy Canes, Rotisserie Chicken Candy Canes, and even Coal Candy Canes (they taste like "smoke and cinnamon," says the company).

"From the personified clam on the package to the clam taste, you’ll wonder how Christmas existed without Clamdy Canes," the company's web site reads. "We all celebrate holidays in our own way and if your holiday tastes like the sea, this is for you."

If you find yourself in need of laugh-worthy gag gifts in the holiday season, it's time to stock up. The set of six gray-and-white candies are so in demand, the company says, that they must limit the number of Clamdy Canes to just five per customer. Boxes of six are available online and sell for $5.95 per box.
