What if it was made by Jimmy Buffett? (Even the most die-hard Parrotheads might have to think about this one.)

It’s been 40 years since Jimmy Buffett’s iconic “Margaritaville” made nibbling on sponge cake and watching the sun bake a national pastime, and his company inspired by the song is celebrating with an epic margarita offering.

The deluxe Ruby Margarita is available exclusively at JWB Prime Steak and Seafood at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort in South Florida for a whopping $1,977—and no, it doesn’t come with actual rubies.

Named for the traditional gift given on a 40th anniversary, this concoction is priced to honor the year 1977, when “Margaritaville” made its debut. It is served in a party-sized batch that serves up to eight people, and though it doesn’t come with precious gemstones, the price tag does include a Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker®, a Margaritaville Beverage Dispenser, a Margaritaville Party Tub, and eight Margaritaville Margarita Glasses. $1,977 doesn’t seem so excessive when it comes with a state-of-the-art margarita maker you can take home, does it?

The 8-person Ruby Margarita is offered only during the anniversary weekend celebration, November 17-19. If you still want to celebrate without paying quite so much (or if your beach house kitchen is already stocked with a margarita maker) you can order a $19.77 version of the Ruby Margarita throughout the month of November at more than 30 Margaritaville restaurants around the world. This version comes with a souvenir blender cup—not quite an 8-person margarita extravaganza, but still celebratory (and a little more financially feasible).

So, who’s ready to celebrate 40 years of Margaritaville?
