Work Meets Play
The kitchen features a sleek bamboo floor contrasted with slate tiles that separate it from the dining area. Pops of fresh flowers and lively hued accents add a touch of femininity.
On the home's porch off the living room, an antique mirror that was originally a window frame in France hangs above a stylish wicker sofa. The soft mint green palette on the pillow fabric and side chair tie the porch to the rest of the house.
Less is More
In the master bath, a large tub beckons relaxation, while simple curtains—made from raw-cut muslin clipped to a cable wire—can be changed out on a whim.
The open kitchen features Moroccan-inspired tiles and stainless steel cabinetry. Bright accessories bring out the red hue in the tile and on the walls.
The spacious porch with a stunning view features synthetic wicker furniture to help prevent cracking and peeling in the coastal elements. Bright red pillows and small turquoise tables add color to the space.
Barn on the Beach
In the kitchen, a traditional chandelier mixes with a simple wooden farm table with modern leather-and-chrome chairs. Fresh blooms in a repurposed can keep the organic theme.
In the master bath, a vintage glass light fixture and a Lucite stool add chic radiance. The fuchsia seat cushion ties in the rich color scheme from the rest of the house.
In the family room, a tongue-in-cheek art piece of a framed bathing suit brings coastal style. A sofa with clean lines and a marble table keep the contemporary theme.
