6. Celine Dion’s Vacation Home
Jupiter Island, Florida
Grammy Award-winning singer Celine Dion’s Bahamas-inspired oceanfront estate went on the market this year on Jupiter Island, Florida—a few miles from our 2016 Happiest Seaside Town and celebrity neighbors like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. Unsurprisingly, the five-and-a-half acre property fronts the Atlantic Ocean and includes a main house, two guest houses, a tennis house, a simulated golf range, pools, and a 500,000-gallon water park—lazy river included.
7. Christie Brinkley’s Hamptons Home
Bridgehampton, New York
Three-time Sports Illustrated cover girl Christie Brinkley listed her Bridgehampton family home, “Tower Hill” (named for the 1891 observation tower that was built as part of the main house). Brinkley and her family called the wooded 20-acre estate home sweet home for 15 years, before deciding it was time to move on to something a bit smaller—and rightly so. The 11,000-square-feet, three-story house (observation tower, and guest house) comes complete with nine bedrooms, seven baths, and four half-baths.
8. Cozy Cottage

A white picket fence, low front porch, and colorful front door: You’re looking at a dreamy demonstration of classic Key West style. This 1,025-square-foot home was built in 1924 and has been carefully preserved over the years, even winning the 2011 Historic Preservation Award. Located in the historic Old Town neighborhood, this property is only two blocks from bustling Duval Street and within walking distance of the beaches, parks, marinas, and more that line the coast of the key.
9. Billy Joel’s Mansion
More: Tour the mansion, here.
In 2014, Joel purchased this Florida mansion for $18.2 million–a worthy price tag considering it rests on a series of lots that stretch from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway. Four acres–600 feet waterfront–and 9,300 square feet of living space mean its new price tag rang in at $27 million. Flooded with Mediterranean elegance and Old Florida flair, the mansion blends the best of both beach house worlds–Joel’s vision upon its 2014 multi-million dollar restoration.
