You Can Be Our Hero, Baby, If You Buy Us Enrique Iglesias’ Former Miami Mansion For $8.9 Million
The Latin crooner’s longtime digs — now for sale — were featured on MTV’s Diary back in 2002.
Whether or not you’re a fan of Enrique Iglesias’ sultry pop tunes, there’s one thing for sure that’s going to make you want to Move to Miami: his house.
Perched on a prime half-acre bayfront lot, the city stunner boasts 100 feet of waterfront and picturesque downtown skyline views from its 95-foot dock. The Latin pop star purchased the land back in 1996 before building atop it two years later (the same year his mega-hit Bailamos was released), according to Mansion Global.
What he built, in true pop star fashion, is nothing short of amazing, from its infinity saltwater pool to the second-level balcony where the sparkling Biscayne Bay is the backdrop to a wall of swaying palms.
The first level is built for entertaining, with covered outdoor dining and lounge spaces that open up to the indoors. Parties undoubtedly start at the U-shaped bar and wine cellar, which connects to a spacious living room that’s certainly big enough to bailar in.
An open kitchen with double ovens makes cooking for a crowd a breeze. Should you want a glimpse of the second-floor sunset, there’s a glass-encased elevator that will take you there.
Upstairs, the bedrooms, office, and gym—the latter two added by the current owners who acquired the property in 2013—all enjoy picture-perfect bayfront views.
If you’re as enticed as we are by the house that Enrique built, you’re in luck: This Miami beauty is on the market for just shy of $9 million through ONE Sotheby’s International Realty. Just promise you’ll invite us over later, okay?
