Step Inside Billionaire Mark Cuban’s New $19 Million Laguna Beach Vacation Home
One of everyone’s favorite Sharks is making a major splash in California real estate.
As a star of ABC’s Shark Tank, billionaire Mark Cuban knows how to make a smart deal, but the most exciting one he’s made recently—if you ask us—may very well be the purchase of this 8,000-square-foot mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The $19 million transaction makes the six-bedroom home the most expensive one sold in the exclusive Montage Residences in 2018 and the second most expensive home sold there ever, according to John Stanaland of Villa Real Estate, who represented the seller. In addition to a posh contemporary home, the sale includes access to all Montage resort amenities, including room service, housekeeping, the spa, and concierge.

But’s those aren’t all the billionaire-worthy perks Cuban, whose main home is in Dallas, is inheriting with the purchase of his new Laguna Beach digs. Perched on a prime piece of oceanfront real estate, Cuban’s 8,000-square-foot getaway boasts 180-degree views of the Pacific. Foldaway doors make for a seamless transition from indoors to out, where a giant stone terrace with a fire pit, barbecue, and infinity pool await.
Inside, the contemporary living spaces feature high ceilings and upscale finishes, such as Mahogany and marble. Set within the multi-level house are two living rooms, a white-washed kitchen, a formal dining room, and six bedrooms, including a spacious master that opens onto the ocean-facing terrace. Cantilevered stairs lead to a swanky lower-level lounge with a bar area, media room, and expansive wine cellar.
Talk about a dreamy vacation home. But while it’s just-shy-of-$20-million sales price seems rather steep, the ultimate deal-maker indeed scored quite the deal, saving more than $6 mil off its original $26 million price tag.
