Seabrook

And it happens to be located in one of our favorite Pacific Northwest towns (and is for sale!).

When some people think of eye candy, visions of celeb crushes or brownie sundaes or cute cat videos (just me?) might come to mind. For us, it’s tiny beach cottages.

And when we stumbled upon this sweet find, we just couldn’t look away.

Seabrook

Named Saltwater Candy, this precious 526-square-foot home is blessed with darling curb appeal thanks to its blue front door, tiny wooden gate, and inviting front porch.

Located in the charming town of Seabrook, Washington—the site of our 2010 Ultimate Beach House—the cottage is a quick walk or bike ride to virtually everything, from markets and restaurants to the wide beaches where you can watch sunsets dip beneath the horizon.

Inside, a lofted living area makes the compact quarters feel quite roomy. A master bedroom and bath lies just off the combined kitchen-living room. And up a wooden ladder, a separate sleeping space with vaulted ceilings leads to a tiny balcony with serene views of town.

While we love the minimalist and efficient layout, we also love the all-white walls punctuated by the medium blue kitchen cabinets (a near-match to the exterior’s blue).

And despite Washington’s rainy reputation, the tiny cottage feels unbelievably bright, with help from a pair of skylights overhead.

Should you want a quick taste of tiny living, Saltwater Candy is currently available as a rental property. Or the home—and the daily dose of eye candy—can be all yours for $423,000.  See more of it here:
