This is What the Tallest Infinity Pool in the Western Hemisphere Will Look Like
The 27-foot-long saltwater pool will be perched atop a 68-story building.
What’s better than a relaxing dip in a pool after a long day? A dip in a pool with a view. And though we tend to day dream about pools surrounded by swaying palms, this cityscape stunner is undeniably next level.
Located atop the tallest residential building in Brooklyn (currently under construction), the infinity-edge pool will feature sweeping vistas of the Manhattan skyline. Visitors will be able to swim to the building’s edge and peer out over Brooklyn from a vantage point 680 feet high.
The pool—which is 100 feet higher than the famous Marina Bay Sands pool in Singapore—is undoubtedly the all-star amenity of the new Brooklyn Point building, where homes ranging from studios to three-bedroom luxury residences are slated to start at a cool $840,000. The building is situated in a coveted cultural district in Brooklyn, with boutiques, restaurants, and bars just steps away.
In addition to the pool, the landscaped rooftop hangout will also offer a sun deck, outdoor dining area, a spot for sky-high movie screenings, and a stargazing observatory—if you can manage to gaze at anything else but the view straight ahead. If this is city living, we're definitely ready to dive in.
