Hurricane Lane, the Category 4 storm barreling toward Hawaii, has already made a significant impact on the island state. The following shelters are open on the Big Island, Maui, and Kauai (pet friendly shelters are marked as such), according to the Red Cross:

HAWAII COUNTY (Currently Open)

The Red Cross recommends that those caught in the path of the storm prepare emergency kits for 14 days and bring them to the shelters. Pets must be in their carriers to enter the approved shelters.
