Karyl says her family’s black Lab, Daisy, is the love of her family. “This was taken in Westport, Washington, where we have a summer home,” she says. “As you can see, Daisy knows that once she is over the dune she will be able to sprint to the ocean for a swim. We love this picture so much because it not only shows the beauty of the ocean and dunes, but also the beauty of Daisy as she patiently but happily awaits our permission to make her run to the surf.”
