The additions of spicy peppercorns, star anise, and cucumber (notes you'll see in many of your favorite gins) make this a maxed-out G&T.
Try it with:St. George Terroir Gin (California). It's the ideal bottle for drinkers who prefer a more pine-forward bouquet, courtesy of botanicals such as Douglas fir, California bay laurel, and coastal sage.
6 tablespoons (3 oz.) gin
2 cucumber slices
3 black peppercorns
1 whole star anise pod
½ cup dandelion tonic water (such as Mixwell)
Cucumber ribbon, for garnish
How to Make It
Combine gin, cucumber slices, black peppercorns, and whole star anise pod in a tall glass, and stir vigorously to infuse flavors, about 30 seconds. Fill glass with ice, and top with dandelion tonic water (such as Mixwell); stir well. Garnish with a cucumber ribbon.
