Target's latest furniture collaboration is the super-colorful cure for your wintertime blues.

The peppy collection, out January 9, was designed by DesignLoveFest blogger Bri Emery (above) and Chicago-based furniture makers Cloth & Company and includes 12 pieces available in 14 prints, so each piece can be customized with your pattern of choice.

Emery, who’s known for her fearless use of bold color in both fashion and home, was inspired by the tiles, textiles and desert sunsets she encountered on her travels through Mexico. “I was drawn to using patterns that are often found in blankets and rugs and wanted those prints to translate onto furniture,” she says.

But the L.A.-based creative was sure to keep things accessible for any interior design style, adding, “It was important to me to offer a variety of colors and subtle patterns so they could easily fit into any room in your home!”

The prints include everything from a bubblegum pink geometric motif to a watercolor cactus design. For the more color conservative, a tame blue-on-white, line-art design, or one of several tone-on-tone styles are a safe bet. There’s also a modular-style sofa in a variety of solid hues to balance out the visually busy items.

The pieces, priced from $200 to $1,400, will be available on target.com, not in stores, which allows for quick customization—a process that ordinarily takes months—and shipping. Cloth & Company “brings the fast fashion concept to home furnishings,” according to CCO, Meganne Wecker, and their pieces ship in 7-9 days.
