With the much-needed buzz surrounding pollution and the effects on our oceans, destinations—from cities to resorts—have sustainability on the mind. Many are ditching plastic straws and cups, while others are focusing on reducing their carbon footprint.

And one in particular is going a step further by hiring a short-term sustainability advisor. And good news: You’re more qualified than you think.

As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, Eden Roc at Cap Cana, a luxury resort along the pristine shores of the Dominican Republic, has put out a call for eco-minded applicants who want to come experience the resort and suggest ways to further reduce its impact on the environment.

To qualify for the position, applicants must simply demonstrate a passion for sustainability by posting a picture on Instagram of an eco-friendly activity they do regularly, such as recycling or eating vegan.

The Sustainability Advisor will stay in the resort's suite with a private pool.

If you’re the lucky chosen one, the job duties couldn’t be better. As the Sustainability Advisor, you’ll win a five-night vacation to the resort, where you’ll have plenty of time to bask on Eden Roc’s pristine white-sand beach (recognized for its environmental management) or lounge by your private pool. You’ll also head out on a food-sourcing trip with the hotel chef and serve as resident taste tester for the kitchen’s menu of sustainable dishes. (Yes, please!)

The caveat, if you can call it that, is that you’ll have to meet with the hotel team at the end of your stay to provide feedback on your eco-friendly experience and suggest any new ways the resort can continue to protect the environment.

And that’s the job description. Are you with us when we say there’s never been a position more perfectly suited to us? We thought so. To apply, upload your eco-friendly Instagram photo, tagging @EdenRocCapCana and using the hashtag #EcoEdenRoc.
