Jade Mountain Perched on the side of a cliff facing the island’s Piton Mountains, the two-year-old resort is all about panache and privacy. Pack a pareo but forget your Manolos; you’ll beclimbing up to the restaurant and down to the spa and beach transport areas. There are 36 staircases scattered throughout the property. Each of the 24 open-air “sanctuaries” comes with a water view, infinity pool, and bridge leading to it.
The Landings, St. Lucia, a RockResort On the calm waters of Rodney Bay, The Landings spreads out over 19 acres and includes an 800-foot secluded beach. Villa suites have living rooms, kitchens, and spacious terraces. Some suites have plunge pools.
The Inn On The Bay Stylish resorts are nice, but if you just need an island home as a base for exploring, try this five-room inn. Biras Creek Imagine a tropical paradise of fragrant frangipani, deep-green sea grape trees, and tamarind groves rimming white beaches and you get only part of the picture of this spectacular spot, set above the North Sound of Virgin Gorda. Mango Bay Resort Check into this newly renovated island villa that fronts a beautiful, unspoiled beach with a coral reef just offshore. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, and hammocks are all gratis.
Le Toiny, St. Bart’s St. Bart’s has lots of swanky hotels, but the refurbishment of Le Toiny, on 38 sloping acres of Morne Vitet, is making the most ripples. Their 15 pastel villas have kitchenettes, private terraces, and heated pools.

Cobblers Cove This old English country house on the northwest coast has been an elegant destination for loyal clients (including lots of Brits) who return faithfully every season. Accommodations include 40 spacious suites, with traditional English decor and private patios.

Amanyara Amanyara is nestled in the vegetation along a secluded white talcum-powder crescent lapped by the Atlantic on the western shore of Providenciales.
