Best Beaches and Other Attractions
The wild, broad-sand beach that edges Seabrook is officially called Moclips Beach, and it’s a glorious place for long walks. And while locals often end up at Seabrook’s Town Hall for live music and other fun, the new hangout of choice is Horseshoe Park in the community’s Farm District, with its horse barn, pickleball and tennis courts, and fire pit.
Nearby, the world’s tallest red cedars, Sitka spruce, Douglas firs, and other conifers rise majestically in the Quinault Rain Forest’s Valley of the Giants. A 31-mile-long loop drive along the shore of Lake Quinault and the banks of the Quinault River will take you to the towering trees as well as waterfalls, hiking trails, campgrounds, and rustic lake resorts.

Where to Eat and Drink
The charming and pedestrian-friendly town center of Seabrook is home to a wonderful grouping of places to eat and drink. To get mornings off on the right foot, Velvet Bakery By The Sea serves Washington’s own Batdor & Bronson coffee along with tantalizing morning pastries.
At Frontager’s Pizza Co., chef Andy Bickar pairs traditional Italian brick-oven technique with local ingredients and artisanal prep. He also does a brawny breakfast, including specialties like cast-iron eggs and semolina cakes. The popular Stowaway wine bar pairs charcuterie and cheeses like Seattle’s own Beecher’s No Woman, Irish cheddar, and Humbolt Fog goat cheese from California with Seven Falls chardonnay from Washington’s Wahluke Slope and other top vineyards from the West Coast, Italy, France, and Argentina, and New Zealand.
