Everything you need to know to rent this Caribbean cottage

Accommodations: One bedroom, one bath, loft, sleeps four

Rate: $840 per week (two adults); $120 for each additional night, $15 for each additional person. Deposit (50 percent) required to confirm reservation; balance due on arrival.

Availability: Year-round

Location: Oceanview, drive to beach

Getting there: Flights to Carriacou available from Barbados and Grenada, with connecting flights on Liat and SVG Air. Osprey Lines ferry service runs daily from Grenada.

Local information: U.S, Canadian, and British citizens need only provide two documents (one with a photo) proving citizenship. Official language: English.

Currency: Eastern Caribbean Dollar (EC$). Driving is on the left, and temporary licenses can be obtained at the police station (jeep rentals, Bullen's; 473/409-0703). (Bellair Garden guests receive discount on jeep rentals.)

Amenities: Outdoor shower, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi access, laundry service available, home-baked goods and boxed lunches available upon request

Need-to-know info: Rental equipped with 110V and 220V 50 Hz electricity (British three-pin and U.S. plugs); payment may be made in U.S. dollars or traveler's checks. Linens and beach towels included.
