Picking a beach destination for vacation is easy: If it’s not what you expected, you never have to go back. Picking a beach town to live in requires a bit more consideration. Luckily, rankings like finance site WalletHub’s 2017 Best Beach Towns to Live in make choosing the perfect forever beach home more of a breeze.

WalletHub’s ranking of 227 beach destinations on 49 indicators of livability looks hard at popular waterfront towns, ranking them on everything from median household income to the number of public beaches in the area (you can see all the data, with methodology, here). To determine which came out on top, WalletHub scored towns on six major categories people look for when moving (affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life), and then calculated the final ranking based on the scores in each category.

Number one on the list? Naples, Florida, with the highest total score. Naples also boasts the number one spot for WalletHub’s ranking of quality of life, though it was 168th for weather and 103rd for economy (all rankings are out of 227).

Key West, Florida, came in at number two, while four other Florida towns (St. Augustine, Marco Island, Key Biscayne, and Boca Raton) made the top ten. Two towns from Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, also made the top ten: Eden Prairie (which is surrounded by several smaller lakes near Minneapolis) and Duluth (on Lake Superior).

The top ten on the ranking, in full, are:

#1: Naples, Florida

#2: Key West, Florida

#3: Eden Prairie, Minnesota

#4: Traverse City, Michigan

#5: St. Augustine, Florida

#6: Charleston, South Carolina

#7: Marco Island, Florida

And dead last on the overall list, at number 227? Shirley, New York, located on Long Island.
